A cameo in a movie, platinum selling albums and not one to shy from controversy. Rihanna's apparently landed the coveted X Factor spot on the panel instead of Britney Spears.

An insider told MediaTakeOut.com, "[Rihanna] wanted to be on X-Factor, but we all thought that [Britney Spears] had it . . . when [Rihanna] found out that they wanted her instead, she jumped at it [the opportunity]."

The Barbadian beauty is set to receive between 15-20 million dollars for her work. Looks like everything is on the up for RiRi.
