 Katie's Story

Adoption is subject that is not featured heavily in the media; this documentary tells a unique story of adoption from Katie’s perspective, filled with the ups and downs of her life and the eventual first meeting with her birth father. It offers a good insight for those who display an interest in adoption. The documentary includes vital documentation such as birth certificates, court receipts, hospital documentation and the letter that Katie's adoptive and biological parents had to sign in order to carry out the adoption. It also includes photographs that document her childhood.Research was conducted before we started filming that 1 in 10 children in the UK get adopted. What is different about this documentary is that it comes from the perspective of an adopted person instead of being purely statistic based.

Playing Dirty

Playing Dirty is a new TV Drama series about a group of friends who insist on playing dirty to get what they want in life and they do not care who they hurt in the process; filled with sex, drugs (and not really Rock N Roll) but some excellent dramatic scenes. This series is not to be missed. The series opens with a terrible death within the circle of friends Laura Brown (Porsha Reid) is brutally murdered and her friends especially Alicia (Perishka Campbell) seem to be hiding some information from the police. Do they know what really happened?

Rewind is a short music show that was a part of my A Level Media college project. It looks at how the music artists of the 1980s has influenced the popular music artists of today.The title ‘Rewind’ was chosen as it is relevant to the programme as viewers are brought on a journey back into the specific era.
